Very true & shocking. The numbers of unreached people groups indicate that the work, in a sense, is only just beginning. Yet the task is too daunting for man to approach apart from the Holy Spirit. I think the phrase "Go, send, or disobey" can only be accepted by a believer once they have grown in grace into a position of full acceptance (like in the sit-walk-stand progression of Ephesians). How many people have burned out on the mission field after having a fear-driven motivation of not wanting to disobey (flesh-centered) when they haven't come to grips with their identity in Christ (grace-motivated)? Nonetheless, I wish more of us knew how tiny of a fraction the American church actually sends missionaries/money/resources to those who have zero gospel access. Good video post Martha!
